Christine Wessollek is a senior scientist at the TU Dresden, Germany. She received her PhD in Remote Sensing at the Institute of Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing at the TU Dresden in 2013 (funded by a Scholarship Program for the Promotion of Early-Career Female Scientists at TU Dresden).

She studied Geodesy at TU Dresden (Dipl.-Ing., 2005). Christine has 11 years of research experience in remote sensing from the Chair of Remote Sensing at TU Dresden, Germany (2007-2018). Christine has worked in various international and national research projects (EU, Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy) in the past. Her roles in these projects ranged from scientific work (modelling, programming, method development) to administrative work (project management, project leadership).
